VISION: We will support activities that foster leadership and advance the roles of area women while acting in unity with the Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce. VALUES: We will provide: Education and training for business, personal, and professional growth for women of all ages; Networking opportunities; Recognition of the contributions, accomplishments, and leadership of women in our community; and Community service activities and projects that capture the spirit of our community-minded mission. Throughout the year, the Women's Division seeks to provide programs and services that are aimed at empowering our local professional women: The ATHENA Award recognizes women who excel in their professional careers, leadership and community service. An Annual Women in Leadership Conference Monthly networking luncheons that also serve as educational venues Quarterly Woman of Excellence Awards

Julie is the Founder and Executive of Horses & Heroes Inc. a local non profit that provides mental health and trauma informed recovery services to the military and first responder populations. Julie is also the CEO of Bold Horse Solutions, Equine Therapy for all populations, a licensed Realtor since 2007, mother of 4 and grandmother of 3. 
Originally from Southern California, Julie spent 14 years as a military spouse before they moved to Overland Park back in 1993. When she isn't managing an aspect of the business, Julie loves to just hang out with the herd of rescued horses, is trying her hand at growing a garden, although the green thumb maybe skipped a generation. Julie also enjoys any beach, hiking, fishing, traveling, spending time with her family, and her dog Zulu.
